My First Travel Blogger Conference, TBEX Jeruselum
I’m leaving this weekend for my very first travel blogger conference, TBEX Jeruselum. Plus, it will be my first time in Israel. I am very excited about this new and exciting adventure.
My friend asked me a few months ago if I would like to go to this conference with him and I simply had to say yes! I have never been to Israel, never been to a blogger conference, and I am excited to chat with my old friend about all of his family travels.
Even more than all of this, I’m super excited about our excursions. We are going on a 4am bike ride through Jeruselum followed by a walking tour. A girlfriend of mine, who travels to Israel a few times a year, suggested we do both as cycling may not see all the places that are possible when going by foot. And last, we are doing a self guided food tour with an app (I’m sure I’ll write about it in more detail later). I can’t wait to try the food in Israel!
I purchased my flight to meet up with my friend on a layover. This way we can arrive together and take a taxi to our Jeruselum hotel. The flight was 300 francs. The entrance fee for the TBEX travel blogger conference was around $100. If I had planned my own 3 hour cycle tour, 2 hour walking tour, and food tour of Jeruselum myself, I would have paid hundreds of dollars! But these excursions were all included in the $100 TBEX sign up. This is such a great opportunity to see a city I never thought I would have the opportunity to see. Plus, I will be meeting a group of travel bloggers who must be so interesting, right?
Have you been to Jeruselum? Have you been to a blogger’s conference? I would love any tips or recommendations for either. I am currently wondering what to pack to cycle, walk, and conference in an easy to carry on bag.
